Future Islands – The Far Field

Future Islands is an American synthpop band based in Baltimore, Maryland, formed in January 2006. The Far Field is the fifth studio album, released on April 7, 2017. It was recorded in a small beach town in Avon, North Carolina, after the band took a break from their touring. Produced by Grammy award-winner John Congleton, it contais 12 songs with a running time of 45 minutes. Among the songs there is a duet with Blondie’s Debbie Harry (on “Shadows”).
