Radiohead – Kid A

Kid A is the fourth studio album by the English rock band Radiohead, released on 2 October 2000 by Parlophone. It was recorded with their producer, Nigel Godrich, in Paris, Copenhagen, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. Speaking at Radiohead’s induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2019, David Byrne of Talking Heads, one of Radiohead’s formative influences, said: “What was really weird and very encouraging was that Kid A was popular. It was a hit! It proved to me that the artistic risk paid off and music fans sometimes are not stupid.”
