UFO – Live

UFO are an English rock band that was formed in London in 1968 and went on to become a transitional group between early hard rock and heavy metal and the new wave of British heavy metal. They are considered one of the greatest classic hard rock acts, and often cited as one of the key influences on the 1980s and 1990s hard rock and heavy metal scenes. Live is the group’s first live recording and it features the original lineup with Mick Bolton on guitar. It consists of blues covers and songs from their first two space-rock albums. All of the tracks are in a jam-oriented style which is very different from the aggressive, song-oriented style they would be later known for. It was the last album to feature Mick Bolton on guitar, he would be replaced with Michael Schenker.
