Sixth June – 1984

1984 is the new album of Sixth June. It moves forward into new territories, developing ideas that already started appearing on our previous albums (from tracks like: Fear of Money, Tatjana, Other side of Love, Falling). This album is a 42-minute composition that builds around a single musical phrase played on a fretless bass and which develops over the length of the entire piece. This conceptual album consists of four chapters that flow into one another, leading up to a cathartic, operatic ending. It was composed in a time of isolation and uncertainty.
