Envy – A Dead Sinking Story

Envy is a Japanese screamo band formed in Tokyo, in 1992. Initially influential in the post-hardcore and screamo scenes and a dominant band in the independent hardcore scene in Japan, Envy soon began to employ elements of post-rock in their work as well. A Dead Sinking Story is their third studio album, recorded, mixed and mastered at Bazooka Japan Institute, Winter 2003, and released on August 2003. It is their only album recorded with three guitarists; Daichi Takasugi joined before the creation of the album and left after the related tour.
