Dinosaur Jr. – Bug
Dinosaur Jr. is an American rock band formed in Amherst, Massachusetts, in 1984 and had earned a reputation as one of the formative influences on American alternative rock. Founding member J Mascis’s drawling vocals and distinct guitar sound, hearkening back to 1960s and 1970s classic rock and characterized by extensive use of feedback and distortion, were highly influential in the alternative rock movement of the 1990s. Bug is their third studio album, released in October 1988, the last Dinosaur Jr. album with original bassist Lou Barlow until Beyond in 2007. Bug is included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die and is a favorite of many Dinosaur Jr. fans.
