Thievery Corporation – Sounds From The Thievery Hi-Fi

Thievery Corporation is an American electronic music duo consisting of Rob Garza and Eric Hilton. Their musical style mixes elements of dub, acid jazz, reggae, Indian classical, Middle Eastern music, hip hop, electronica, and Brazilian music, including bossa nova. Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi is their debut studio album, released in 1996 in Germany and on June 1997 in the United States. Guest vocals include Pam Bricker and Bebel Gilberto. The album was dedicated to Bossa Nova pioneer Antonio Carlos Jobim.
