Suicidal Tendencies – Get Your Fight On

Suicidal Tendencies is an American hardcore punk band formed in 1980 in Venice, California, by vocalist Mike Muir, who is the only remaining original member of the band. Along with D.R.I., Corrosion of Conformity, and Stormtroopers of Death, they are often credited as one of “the fathers of crossover thrash”. The band has been influenced by a variety of genres, including punk rock, speed metal, hardcore punk, surf music, heavy metal and reggae, and by artists such as Jimi Hendrix, the Ramones, the Sex Pistols, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, Black Flag, Black Sabbath, T.S.O.L., the Who, Motörhead, War, Bob Marley and Frank Zappa. Get Your Fight On! is the second EP, released on March 9, 2018. In addition to four new songs (including a cover of the Stooges’ “I Got a Right”), the EP contains re-recordings of “Nothing to Lose” and “Ain’t Mess’n Around” – both taken from Cyco Miko’s 1996 solo album Lost My Brain! (Once Again) – and four variations of “Get Your Fight On!”, including the album version which can be found on World Gone Mad.
