Rotting Christ – Thy Mighty Contract

Rotting Christ is a Greek black metal band formed in 1987. The band released their first demo upon an unsuspecting world in 1991, and their incredibly dark and violent Black Metal sound established them in the underground as one of the originators of the second wave of Black Metal – a fact easily forgotten in the face of later Scandinavian domination. Thy Mighty Contract is their debut album, a classic work that defined the so-called “Greek sound of Black Metal”. This version is an 180 gram vinyl edition that includes an 8 page booklet with extensive thoughts and recollections from mainman Sakis Tolis.
