Drawing influences from the likes of Suicide and the dark and synth-heavy soundtrack work of John Carpenter, The Rattler Proxy explore the realm of urban alienation through intense and claustrophobic soundscapes. Death Machine is a lush electronic bossa ode to serial killer Richard “The Night Stalker” Ramirez, while “Company of Wolves” is a hyperactive stomper that runs with the pack. Antoni Maiovvi’s teutonic reinterpretation of “Death Machine” is a brooding hair raiser that will make you look over your shoulder more than once, while the Jokers Of The Scene deliver a dark balearic epic that stretches out to 9 minutes and 53 seconds.
