OM – Advaitic Songs

OM is an American heavy metal band from San Francisco, California, formed in 2003. The band’s name itself derives from the Hindu concept of Om, which refers to the natural vibration of the universe. Their style has been described as doom metal, heavy drone and psychedelic rock. Founding member Al Cisneros is also the singer / bassist in stoner rock band Sleep. Advaitic Songs is their fifth studio album, released on July 24, 2012. The album features an image of John the Baptist at its cover and has received a generally favorable response from both fans and critics.
