King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard – Teenage Gizzard

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard are an Australian rock band formed in 2010 in Melbourne, Victoria. The band has explored a wide range of genres, including psychedelic rock, garage rock, acid rock, progressive rock, psychedelic pop, indie rock, neo-psychedelia, doom metal and thrash metal. Many of the band’s releases are based on a unique concept, yet share lyrical themes and feature characters that form a recurring cast, the most frequent being Han-Tyumi, a cyborg character who appears across multiple albums. Their songs also tell stories of people-vultures, bushrangers and Balrogs, as well as “lightning gods, flesh-eating beasts, sages and space-faring eco rebels”. Teenage Gizzard is an official collection of King Gizzard’s early EP works. The album features 10 songs recorded between 2010 and 2011 in Melbourne.
