Girls Names – Stains On Silence

Girls Names was a four-piece band from Belfast, Northern Ireland, formed in 2009 as a two-piece by singer/guitarist and songwriter Cathal Cully and drummer Neil Brogan. The band released four albums before disbanding in January 2019. Stains Of Silence is their fourth and last album, released in 2018. Recorded in various locations including Belfast’s Start Together Studio with Ben McAuley, Cully’s home and the band’s practice space, spontaneous creation, cut-up techniques and self-editing took centre-stage for the first time.
