Foxygen – …And Star Power

Foxygen is an American indie rock duo from Westlake Village, California, formed in 2005. The band consists of multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Rado and vocalist Sam France. They have gained a reputation for their unhinged live shows and maniacal behavior of lead singer France. In 2014, for their tours promoting the sprawling double album …And Star Power, the group expanded to a nine-piece live band including three back-up singer/dancers. …And Star Power is their fourth studio album, released October 2014. It is a double album that follows a loose concept around the eponymous fictional band Star Power. Unlike their previous full-length, the album was recorded almost entirely at home and in various locations in Los Angeles, such as the Chateau Marmont and Beverly Hills Hotel. Guests such as The Flaming Lips, Of Montreal, White Fence and more appear on the album.
