Baby Guru – IV

Baby Guru was a Greek band from Athens. Their music traverses the wider spectre of rock, with heavy influences from genres such as krautrock and psychedelic rock, while the lyrics of their songs are almost exclusively written in English. They have released four albums, two of which had an international distribution. IV is the band’s last release, an album that pushes the boundaries once again, delivering some of their richest set of songs, both musically and lyrically. The songs deal with everyday struggle, (cosmic) unfulfilled romances, the illusions of fame, half-forgotten dreams, imaginary folk bands and disco freaks. “IV” is a hymn to group life and the work of four childhood friends who are seeking genuine forms of expression in a cold-hearted world. The album was released on February 28, 2017 and contains 8 songs.
