Arab Strap – As Days Get Dark

Arab Strap are a Scottish indie rock band whose core members are Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton. Formed in Falkirk, Scotland in 1995, they took their name after a sex toy and released six albums before splitting up in 2006. As Days Get Dark is their seventh album, and the first in 16 years. Released in March 2021, “it situates the Scottish duo in the current moment, teasing out new modes of songwriting while remaining as wry, dark, and self-lacerating as ever” (according to Pitchfork).
